254 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Wilmot
Seven pounds, three shillings and ten pence current Money due him
per account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Rogers Esquire Chancellor,
one hundred and eighty seven pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's
Salary due the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler Thirteen pounds fifteen
shillings for one quarter's Salary as Messenger to the Council and
Keeper of the Stadt House, due the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Green ninety three
pounds fifteen shillings for one quarter's Salary as Printer to the
State due th 1st. instant,

[p 310] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
John White Commissioner One hundred and one pounds, five
shillings for one quarters Salary due him the 1st. Inst.

The Council adjourned 'till Thursday next.

Thursday 8th. May 1788

The Council met.

Benjamin Harrison Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin
Mackall Esqr. fifty pounds for one quarter's Salary as one of the
Judges of the Court of Appeals due the 1st. of February last,

That the said Treasurer pay to the said Benjamin Mackall fifty
pounds for one quarter's Salary as one of the Judges aforesaid due
the 1st. Instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Solomon Wright Esqr. One
hundred and fifty pounds for three quarter's Salary as one of the
Judges of the Court of Appeals due the 1st. Instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Rumsey Esqr. One
hundred pounds for half a year's Salary as one of the Judges of the
Court of Appeals due the 1st. Instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Jones Esqr. Fifty pounds
for one quarter's Salary as One of the Judges of the Court of Appeals
due the 1st. Instant.

In Council May 8. 1788

By the Petition of Frances Smith of Baltimore County accompa-
nied by a transcript from the Records of the said County it appears
