sion for the distresses of the said Elizabeth and two Children, and
the promise of Job Garretson to be his Security, he having property
to a considerable amount of her husbands in his hands, but the said
Garretson did not comply with his promise, that he the said Arm-
strong has a wife and four small children, who are in the utmost
distress for want of his Support, prays a Remission of the said
forfeiture, and eight of the Justices of the said County having recom-
mended him the said William Armstrong to the mercy of Govern-
ment. The Board taking the same into Consideration do order and
direct the said forfeited Recognizance of fifty pounds to be, and it is
hereby remitted.
