Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to George Gold-
smith Presbury Thirty two pounds, six shillings and ten pence per
Account passed by the Auditor General.

William Armstrong of Baltimore County by his Petition to this
Board sets forth that he was recognized in the Sum of fifty pounds
Current Money for the appearance of a certain Elizabeth Easton
Manahan (wife of James Manahan) to the last Criminal Court held
for said County to answer a Presentment and [p 304] In-
dictment for Felony, and by the non attendance of the said Elizabeth
Easton Manahan, his Recognizance was forfeited, in consequence
thereof he was confined in the Prison of the said County, that he was
induced to enter into the said Recognizance from pity and compas-
