The Council adjourned till Tuesday next 15th. Instant.

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor.

Esquires.

The Council adjourned 'till Saturday next 19th. Instant. [p 29]

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday the 21st. Instant.

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning n o'clock.

The Council met at the request of the Governor.

Whereas the Examiner General's Office is now vacant and divers
Certificates are ready for Examination, but the Governor and Coun-
cil cannot yet determine on a proper Person to whom they would
grant a Permanent Commission—Resolved that Mr. William Brown
be, and is hereby appointed, Examiner General to act 'till the Gover-
nor and Council shall grant a permanent Commission.

The Council adjourned 'till Saturday the 26 Instant.
