Four pounds, ten Shillings due him per Account passed by the
Deputy Auditor.

Commission issued to Isaiah Tilghman appointed One of the
Coroners of Somerset County.

[p 281] Commissions issued to the following persons appointed
Justices of the Peace and Orphans Court.

Worcester County

John Selby, Ebenezer Handy, Thomas Purnell, James Selby, John
Postley, Josiah Mitchell, John Pope Mitchell, Philip Quinton, Isaac
Marshall, William Purnall, William Handy Indian Town, Purnall
Johnson and Outten Sturgis Justices of the Peace.

John Selby, John Postley, Josiah Mitchell, Philip Quinton, and
William Handy Indian Town, Justices of the Orphans Court.

Somerset County

William Winder, Esme Bailey, John Williams, Gillis Polk, John
Stewart, Joseph Venables, Henry Jackson, Levin Woolford, George
Waters, William Stevens, James Bennett, and Henry Miles Justices
of the Peace.

John Stewart, Gillis Polk, John Williams, Henry Jackson and
Levin Woolford Justices of the Orphans Court.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Tuesday 18th. December 1787

The Council met.
Present

The Honorable James Brice

John Davidson

Benjamin Harrison Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark
Fifty five pounds Current Money in part of an order drawn by the
Board the 9th. November last for One hundred pounds now returned.

That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark forty five pounds
Current Money Balance of said Order of One hundred pounds.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 19th. December 1787

The Council met.

Present the Hon'ble. Jeremiah T. Chase, James Brice, John
Davidson and B. Harrison Esqrs.
