A Letter from Doctr. John Scott Naval Officer 8th. District 1st.
November containing a representation of 17th. August last and
Deposition respecting the Deputy Naval Officer at Head of Elk.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Nancy Handy
Executrix of Joseph Handy eleven pounds, one shilling and nine
pence specie agreeably to the Act to adjust the Debts etc. per Ac-
count passed by the Deputy Auditor the 1st. September last.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

tor of Cornelius Howard late a Serjeant of the 3d. Maryland Regi-
ment Eighteen pounds, fifteen shillings for five Months pay due to
the said Cornelius Howard from 1st. of August 1780 to 1st. of
January 1781. per Certificate of the Auditor General.
