His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire attended.
Commission issued to John Gassaway conformable to a Resolution
of the General Assembly appointing him Register of Wills for Anne
Arundel County in the room of Thomas Gassaway deceased.
Monday 3d. December 1787
Benjamin Harrison Esquire appeared in the Council room and
Qualified before Alien Quynn Esquire one of the Justices of Anne
Arundel County, by taking the several Oaths required by the Consti-
tution and Form of Government and Laws of this Suite, and by
making and subscribing a Declaration of his belief in the Christian
Religion, a Certificate thereof produced and filed.
Thursday 6th. December 1787
John Davidson Esquire appeared in the Council room, and Quali-
fied before Robert Couden Esquire one of the Justices of Anne
Arundel County by taking the several Oaths required by the Consti-
tution and Form of Government and Laws of this State and by
making and subscribing a Declaration of his belief in the Christian
Religion a Certificate thereof produced and filed.

James Brice Esquire appeared in the Council room, and Qualified
before Robert Couden Esquire one of the Justices of Anne Arundel
County by taking the several Oaths required by the Constitution and
Form of Government, and Laws of this State, and by making, repeat-
ing and subscribing a Declaration of his Belief in the Christian Re-
ligion. Certificate thereof produced and filed.
John Kilty Esquire appeared in the Council room, and Qualified
before James Brice Esquire Mayor of the City of Annapolis, by tak-
ing the several Oaths required by the Constitution and Form of
Government, and Laws of this State and by making, repeating and
subscribing a Declaration of his belief in the Christian Religion,
Certificate thereof produced and filed.
