Commissions issued to Walter Hanson, Daniel Jenifer, John Dent,
Richard Barnes, William Harrison, John Parnham, Walter Hanson
Jenifer, Walter Winter of John, Samuel Hanson Junior, Hoskins
Hanson, John Morton, Bennett Dyson, George Lee and Benjamin
Fendall appointed Justices of the Peace for Charles County and
also to

Walter Hanson, John Dent, Richard Barnes, William Harrison
and Walter Hanson Jenifer appointed Justices of the Orphans Court
of Charles County.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow 11 o'clock.

The Honorable Aquila Paca and John Davidson Esqrs.

The Council adjourned 'till Thursday next 3d. Instant.

The Council met.

Present as on Tuesday.

By the Petition of Elias Ramsburgh it appears that he was fined
by the Justices of Frederick County Court in August 1781 the Sum of
Twenty five pounds specie, or the value therof in paper money, for an
Assault and Battery on Catharine Heffner, that he has a Wife, and
five small Children to Support by his own labour, that he is a very
sickly man, and by an annexed Certificate from the Collector, it
also appears that his whole property is only assessed at forty pounds,
We therefore from the above Facts as set forth, and certified by
