2O Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

Junior, Hoskins Hanson, John Morton, Bennett Dyson, and George
Lee appointed Justices of the Peace for Charles County, and also to

Walter Hanson, John Dent, Richard Barnes, William Harrison
and Walter Hanson Jenifer appointed Justices of the Orphans Court
of Charles County.

Samuel Chew, William Ireland, Walter Smith, Daniel Rawlings,
James Heighe, Samuel Lane, Joseph Wilkinson, Levin Mackall, John
Grahame, John Brooke and John Chesley appointed Justices of the
Peace for Calvert County, and also to

Samuel Chew, Walter Smith, James Heighe, Joseph Wilkinson,
and Levin Mackall appointed Justices of the Orphans Court of Calvert
County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow 11 o'clock.

[p 23] Thursday 10th. February 1785

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to William Coe,
one pound, nineteen shillings and six pence current Money amount of
his Account for making Cloaths for James O'Hara and his Child by
order of the Council, in Virtue of a Resolution of the General As-
sembly of July 1779.

That the said Treasurer pay to James O'Hara two pounds, ten
shilling current Money, forty shillings part thereof to be paid for
One Month's Board to commence from the 14th. of this Instant
February, and ten shillings the residue to be retained by him for his
own Expences allowed him in Virtue of the above cited Resolution.

Commissions issued to Joshua Beall, David Craufurd, Richard
Henderson, Thomas Clagett, Osborn Sprigg, Fielder Bowie, Thomas
Boyd, William Berry, James Mullikin, James Beck, Henry Rozier,
Frank Leeke, Samuel Hepburn, John Brown, Abraham Boyd, John
Smith Brookes, Rinaldo Johnson, and Robert Bowie appointed
Justices of the Peace for Prince George's County and to

Joshua Beall, David Craufurd, Fielder Bowie, Frank Leeke,
Samuel Hepburn, John Smith Brookes and Rinaldo Johnson ap-
pointed Justices of the Orphans Court of Prince George's County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow 11 o'clock.
