170 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

[p 206] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
Christopher Richmond Esqr. Seventeen pounds, ten shillings for fire-
wood found the Auditors Office in 1783 allowed by the Board.

That the said Treasurer pay to Randolph B. Latimer Twelve
pounds five shillings and two pence due him per Account passed by
the Aud'r. Gen'l.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Shaw Twenty five pounds
to be applied to defray the Expence of the transportation of Arms
to Frederick Town.

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas D. Merrick Seven pounds
ten shillings One Quarters Salary as Clerk of the Court of Appeals
due the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Harwood Eighteen pounds
fifteen shillings for One quarters Salary as Clerk of the House of
Del's. due the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Rogers Esqr. One hundred
and Eighty seven pounds, ten shillings for One Quarters Salary
as Chancellor due the 1st. Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer Esqr.
One hundred and twenty five pounds for One Quarters Salary as
Agent due in January last.

That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Jenkins junr. Nine pounds,
eleven shillings, and eight pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State" per Account passed by the Aud'r.
Gen'l, the 30 Jan'y. last.

That the said Treasurer pay to Sarah Denny Seven pounds fifteen
shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State" per Account passed by the Auditor General.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday the 5th. Feb'y. instant.

Monday 5th. February 1787

The Council met.

Present as on Thursday.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin
Nicholson Esqr. Sixty two pounds, ten shillings for One quarters
Salary as Judge of the Court of Admiralty due the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esqr. Eighteen pounds
fifteen shillings for One Quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

[p 207] Tuesday 6th. February 1787

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler
