The Council met.

Present the Hon'ble. Jeremiah T. Chase

James Brice and John Kilty Esquires.

[p 141] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
John H. Stone Esqr. & Co. Six hundred and sixty five pounds, five
shillings Current Money by Order of Messrs. Willing, Morris and
Swanwick it being for five hundred and twelve pounds ten shillings
advanced by them to William Hindman Esqr. and One hundred and
fifty three pounds, fifteen shillings to William Harrison Esqr. Dele-
gates to Congress to be charged to them on Account.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Gabriel Duvall
Esqr. Sixteen pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence Current
Money Balance of 4 Months Salary as a Member of the Council to the
20th. April last the time of his Resignation.

That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Riely late a soldier of the
State Regiment, afterwards of the 2d. Maryland Regiment Eleven
pounds seven shillings and six pence Current Money Balance of five
Months pay due him from 1st. August 1780 to 1st. January 1781
per Certificate of Auditor General.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Frederick Augustus Priggs
One hundred pounds, nine shillings Current Money due him per
Account passed by the Auditor General.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Houston Ten pounds Cur-
rent Money for the use of Titus Buley Adm'r. of Philip Buley, the
Balance of five Months pay from 1 August 1780 to 1 Jan'y. 1781 per
Cert'a. of the Auditor General.
