An Account of Mr. Joshua Johnsons for Rent of his House for a
victualing office was produced being first passed by the Auditor in
which is charged £40 a year Rent. On the Question shall the said
Account pass, it was determined in the Negative. On the Question
what Sum should be allowed determined that the Sum of £30 a Year
should be allowed, so endorsed on the Account and sent back to the
Auditor.
Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Oliver White
Nineteen pounds, six shillings and nine pence specie agreeably to the
"Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Account passed
by the Aud'r. Gen'l. 13 May last.
That the said Treasurer pay to Blackwell Jones Nine Pounds, One
shilling and eight pence specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid per
Account passed by the Auditor General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Alexander Makasky Thirty six
pounds, twelve shillings specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid per
Account passed by the Auditor General the 1st. May last.
That the said Treasurer pay to Basil Israel Three pounds, twelve
shillings and seven pence specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid per
Account passed 31 May last.
That the said Treasurer pay to Wallace, Johnson and Muir Eight
pounds, seventeen shillings specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid
per Account passed by the Auditor General the 1st. Instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain Isaac Evans Two pounds,
seven shillings and Eight pence, Six pounds, nineteen shillings and
eight pence and Thirty nine pounds, ten shillings and four pence,
Captain Matthew Purnell nine pounds, twelve shillings, Captain
Littleton Robins Eleven pounds, fifteen shillings and Eight pence and
to Lieut. Jesse Jones Ten pounds fifteen shillings and eight pence
specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts [p 143] due
from this State" per Payrolls examined and passed by the Auditor
General the 19th. May 1783; also to Capt. Josiah Dale Sixteen
pounds, one shilling and eight pence, Capt. Isaac Evans Fifty two
pounds, five shillings and four pence, Lieut. Esaw Williams Eleven
