dred & fifty pounds of tobacco we thinke reasonable & fitt to allow
But as for the hogshead of tobacco left in the Countrey att Thomas
Warrens house weighing neat three hundred Eighty six pounds of
tobacco we thinke not reasonable nor fitt to be allowed in discharge
of part of the said debt, for that itt appeareth not to us that the
said hogshead was the proper produce of any part of the said Goods
Neither doe we thinke fitt to allow of thirty five pounds of tobacco
& twenty nine pounds of tobacco, for that itt appeareth not to us how
the same became due to the said Edmondson And whereas the said
Edmondson chargeth fifteen pounds, of tobacco p Centum for Sallery,
we thinke reasonable to allow tenn pounds of tobacco p Cent which

Comes to Seven hundred & Seven pounds of tobacco And whereas
by Edmondsons own acknowledgemt he allowed but five farthings
a pound for tobacco which comes to in money but Thirty six pounds
Sixteen shillings & eight pence so that there remaines still in his
hands the Value of One pound Eleven shillings and foure pence
which in tobacco att five farthings p pound comes to three hundred
& one pounds of tobacco So that upon ballance of accompts between
the said Josiah Bacon & the said John Edmondson we Report to yor
Honors that we find the said John Edmondson indebted unto the
said Josiah Bacon the full & just Surn of One thousand & ninety six
pounds of tobacco In testimony whereof we have hereunto sub-
scribed our hands and affixed our Seales this fifth day of October
in the third yeare of the Dominion of the right Honble Charles &c

Now here att this day to witt the Eleventh day of October in the
third yeare of the Dominion of the right Honble Charles Lord Balte-
more &c Annoq Doni 1678. cometh as well the said plaintiffe as the
said Defendt by their Attorneys aforesaid And the aforegoing Re-
port of the Auditors aforesaid being read & heard itt is considered
by the Court here that the said Josiah Bacon recover against the
said John Edmondson as well the sume of One thousand ninety &
six pounds due upon the ballance of the accompts aforesaid As also
Eleven hundred & twenty pounds of tobacco costs of suite And the
said Tno Edmondson in mercy &c
