The Defend^t by Henry Bonner his Attorney ap-
peares & imparles untill next Court

Memorandum that his Lordpp the Lord Prop^ry of this Province
sendeth his writt of habere facias possession to the Sheriffe of Balte-
more County directed which followeth in these words Viz^t Charles
absolute Lord & Prop^ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord
Baron of Baltemore &c To the Sheriffe of Baltemore County greet-
ing Whereas att a Provinciall Court held att our City of S^t Maryes
the fourteenth day of June last past before our Justices of our said
Court David Jones Lessee of Thomas Tailor Esq^r hath recovered
against Nathaniel Hinchman his possession of & in a certaine Plan-
tacon & three hundred acres of land called Timber Neck with the
appurtenfices lying on the North side of Potapsco River in Baltemore
County which he the said Nathaniel Hinchman hath unjustly de-
tained from him the said David Jones Wee therefore comand you
that to him the said David Jones possession of the said Messuage &
p^rmisses with the appurtenfices without delay you cause to be had
& given And in what manner you Execute this precept that you make
known to our Justices of our said Court to be held att S^t Maryes the
Eighth day of October next & haue you there this writt Wittnes our
trusty & welbeloved Tho: Notley Esq^r our Lievten^t Gen^ll & chiefe

Justice of our said Province the Eighteenth day of June in the third
yeare of our Dominion &c Annoq? Doni 1678. Att which said
Eighth day of October in the yeare aforesaid the same Sheriffe mak-
eth returne of the writt aforesaid endorsed that by vertue thereof he
had delivered unto the said Thomas Tailor possession of the said

Messuage land & p^rmisses as try the same writt he was comanded.
