Comand was given to the Sheriffe of st Maryes
County, that by good & lawfull men of his baily-
wick he make known unto Gerard Slye Admr
of the Goods & Chattels of Richard Chillman
deceased that he be & appeare here the third day

of June in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Balte-
more &c Annoqj Doni 1679. to shew cause (if any he have) why
Execution should not issue forth upon a judgemt for two thousand
two hundred pounds of tobacco debt & five hundred fifty two pounds
of tobacco costs of suite obtained agt the said Richard Chillman in
his life tyme the Eighteenth day of June last past by Robert Ellys,
On which said third day of June the same Sheriffe made returne
of the writt aforesaid, that by Vertue thereof before John Llewellin
Wm Ninsinger & Zachariah Thompson good & lawfull men of his
bailywick, he had made knowne unto the said Gerard Slye that he
be & appeare as by the same writt he was comanded.
Afterwards to witt the fifth day of June in the yeare aforesaid
came the aforesaid Robert Ellys by Robert Carvile his Attorney And
prayeth Execution of the debt & costs aforesaid And the said Gerard
although so warned being solemnly called came not but made default
Therefore itt is considered that the said Robert Ellys haue Execu-
tion agt the Estate of the said Richard Chillman for the debt &
costs aforesaid And also fiue hundred twenty Eight pounds of to-
bacco costs of suite sithence laid out & expended.
