Upon the peticon of Thomas Pattison, that he is brought downe to
this Court by vertue of an Execution att the suite of Thomas Jones
for a debt by him satisfied & paid by the said Thomas Jones his
order & humbly requested that he might be discharged from the said
Execution, whereupon the aforesaid Tho: Pattison haveing made
itt appeare by receipts that he hath satisfied & paid the full contents
of the Execution aforesaid to the order of the said Tho: Jones, is
discharged of the Execution aforesaid by Kenelm Cheseldyn At-
torney of the said Tho: Jones, the said Tho: Pattison afterwards
to witt the fourth day of June in the fourth yeare of the Dominion
of Charles Lord Baltemore &c Annoq Doni 1679 acknowledging
that he will pay unto the said Tho: Jones what he shall make
appeare to remaine due upon the judgemt & Execution aforesaid

John Richardson late of Dorchister County other-
wise called John Richardson of the County of
Dorchister planter was Sumoned to answer unto
Abigail Wright Admx of the Goods & Chatties
of Arthur Wright deceased of in a plea that he

render unto her the Sume of ffoure thousand nine hundred thirty
eight pounds of tobacco which from her he unjustly detaineth
And whereupon the said Abigail by Robert Carvile her Attorney
saith, that whereas the said John upon the fourth day of August in
the yeare of our Lord One thousand six hundred Seventy six, did
by his certaine bill or writeing obligatory Sealed with the Seale of
him the said John & here in Court produced whose date is the day
& yeare aforesaid acknowledge himselfe to be indebted to the said
Arthur upon accompt the said Sume of foure thousand nine hun-
dred thirty eight pounds of good sound tobacco to be paid that prsent
yeare after the date of the said bill, yet notwithstanding he the said
John the said Sume of foure thousand nine hundred thirty eight
pounds of tobacco to him the said Arthur in his life tyme, or to the
said Abigail since his death according to the tenour of the said bill
though often thereunto requested hath not paid or satisfied, but the
same to pay & satisfie hath hitherto & still doth refuse & deny to pay
to the damage of the said Abigail tenn thousand pounds of tobacco,
& thereupon she bringeth her suite And she bringeth to the Court
here her Letters of Admcon that itt may appeare to the Court here
that she is Admx & hath Admcon &c
