         Whereas att a Prouinciall Court held for this Province on ye 6th LiberP.C.R.
       day of Octobr 1658. It was then Ordered That ye Land belonging
       to Capt Willm Lewis Deceased att Nangemy in Patowmeck Riuer
       should be extended, soe far forth, as to pay ye Credrs to yt Estate.
       And yt ye Credrs bee ye Appraysers of ye sd Land, as by ye sd Order
       of Court doth appeare. And whereas likewise att a Court held ye 10th
       day of March last The Credrs to yt Estate Petitioned that Court that
       ye sd land may be fortwth extended, & appraysed, to satisfy their
       respectiue . . . Prescott mercht haue ye refusall of ye sayd Land
          Whereupon It was then Ordered, according . . . bee ap
       praysed. And writt of Extent gyuen to ye sheriffe according to ye
       sd Order. And is now returned by him att this Court.
         Att ye reading of wch Returne of ye Sheriffe, some one of ye Credr5
       to that Estate, informe ye Board (being present in Court) That ye
       Land was appraysed att to low a vale. Wherefore the Court thought
       fltt (to satisfy all what might bee alleaged) to declare, & sell ye p. 319
       same att an Outcry.
         Whereuppon Proclamaön was made by the Sheriffe, Shewing how
       yt ye Land belonging to Capt Willm Lewis att Nangemy Deceased,
       was extended & appraysed att 14355 l Tob. for 99 yeares. And if
       any Out will giuc morc for ye sd Land, thcn what It is aliready ap
       praysed att Lett him now appeare, & declare soe much to ye Board.
         And noe one appearing.
         It is Ordered uppon ye Pet” of ye Credrs That Edward Prescott
       mercht enioy ye sd Land, according to ye Extent Returned by ye
       Sheriffe for Ninety Nine yeares. Hee putting in Security to ye Court
       for ye paymt of ifourteene thowsand three hundd fifty flue pownds
       of Tob. To bee proportionably allowed amongst ye Credrs by ye
       Secretary according to the Claymes allready Exhibited & allowed.
       And it is further Ordered that Mr Secretary in ye behalfe of ye
       Ld Proprietary & ye Credrs for ye Consideraãn afore mentioned,
       Demise & Graunt unto ye sd Edward Prescott his heyres & assignes
       All ye sd Land, according to ye Certificate thereof Returned into ye
       Office. To haue & to hold to him his heyres & Assignes, for Ninety
       Nine yeares, by ye Rent reserued according to Condicön of Plantaön
       to ye Lord Proprietary only. Wth warranty agst any former Graunt,
       Extent, Mortgage, or any claime of Dower Joynture, tytle of Dower,
       or any other claime or incumbrance whatsoeur, wch any manner of
       person now hath or att any time hereafter during ye sd tearme of
       Ninety Nine yeares may haue or pretend to haue unto ye sd Land,
       or any part thereof. And that ye sd Leafe soe graunted shall bee as
       firme & authentick to all intents & purposes in Law (for ye sd tearme
       of Ninety nine yeares) as any other Graunt wch is made to any
       person wthin this Prouince. And lastly It is Ordered, That Mr Sec
       retarys Order to ye sd Edward Prescott for ye paymt of ye Tob
       togeather wth Receipts indorsed uppon ye sd Order by ye Seuerall
       Credrs shall bee his sufficient discharge for ye same.
