Personal of him the said John McPherson (his wearing Apparel and
Library only excepted) shall be and is hereby Vested in the said
Trustees for the Benefit of the Creditors of the said John McPherson
and they the said Trustees or the Survivors of them are hereby
authorized and required to enter into take hold and possess the
same as fully and amply to all Intents and Purposes as the said
John McPherson himself might or could do and are hereby im-
powered in their own Names to maintain any Action or Actions
for Recovery of any Debts due to the said John McPherson and
upon Receipt thereof to give Discharges for the same

And be it further Enacted That the said Trustees or the Survivors
of them shall and they are hereby Authorized and required to receive
the thirty per Poll annually arising and which shall arise due to the
said John McPherson as Rector of William and Mary Parish in said
County or any other Parish within this Province as also the Rents
and Profits of the Glebe Land and the Profits arising from the Labour
of the Slaves thereto belonging. And the said Trustees or the
Survivors of them are hereby Authorized and required to give
publick Notice to all the Creditors of the said John McPherson by
Advertisements to be published in the Maryland Gazette of the Time
and Place of their Meeting to receive the Claims of the several
Creditors of the said John who are willing to accept their Dividend
under this Act and after the said Trustees or the Survivors of them
have received an Account of the said Claims they are hereby Author-
ized to settle and adjust the same and make an Estimate thereof ac-
cording to the several sums they shall allow to be due

And be it further Enacted That the said Trustees or the Survivors
of them are hereby Authorized and required as soon as conveniently
may be to make Sale of the whole real and personal Estate of the
said John McPherson to which he is not entitled as Rector of William
and Mary Parish aforesaid and the Money arising from such Sale
to distribute equally amongst his Creditors aforesaid in proportion
to their several Claims so adjusted and settled as aforesaid reserving
to themselves a Commission of ten per Cent for their Trouble therein

And be it further Enacted That the said Trustees or the Survivors
of them shall and are hereby required annually to make Distribution
of the Money and Tobacco arising due from the thirty per Poll to
the said John as Rector of William and Mary Parish as also from
the Rents and Profits of the Glebe Land and also from the Labour
of the Slaves aforesaid amongst his Creditors aforesaid in Pro-
portion to their several Claims so adjusted and settled reserving a
Commission of five per Cent for their Trouble and having first
deducted the sum of eleven thousand Pounds of Tobacco from such
annual Income or thirty per Poll which they are hereby Authorized
and Required to pay to the said John McPherson or his Order for
his Support and Maintenance and for which said Sum of eleven
