and the Buyers of all such Pews shall be thereby Vested with a good
Title in the said Pews to them their Heirs and Assigns for Ever for
which entry of each Pew the said Clerk shall be Paid one shilling
Current Money as aforesaid

And be it further Enacted That if it shall happen that any of the
said Trustees should die before the said Trust is fully and Com-
pleatly executed it shall and may be Lawful for the Inhabitants of
the said Chester Town and Owners of a Lott or Lotts therein or the
Major Part of them to elect and Choose some other discreet Person
resident in the said Town as Trustee in place of the one that is dead
and so as often as any one may die to keep up the number of the
Trustees until the said Trust is fully executed and those who shall
be so Chosen shall have the same Powers and Authorities for the

Purposes aforesaid as if Particularly named by this Act

And Whereas the Vestry of the said Chester Parish being im-
powered by the said recited Act to sell and dispose of the Pews in
the Parish Church when finished to the Freeholders of the said
Parish and being also very desirous to give general Satisfaction
therein and Apprehending there will not be Pews enough in the said
Parish Church to Accomodate all who Claim a Preference therein
under their several Constructions of the said Act the said Vestry
have Prayed that their Duty in the said Business may be more Par-
ticularly explained and delineated

Be it therefore Enacted by the Authority aforesaid That when
the Pews in the said Parish Church are finished the Vestry of the
said Parish shall Cause their Register to set up an Advertisement at
the Church Door and other Publick places in the said Parish giving
Notice for all the ffreeholders of the said Parish having a Freehold
Estate of Fifty Acres of Land at the least within the said Parish
and on which some Person or Persons dwell and Pay Taxes within
the said Parish to Appear themselves or by some other Person for
them at the said Parish Church at a Day and hour to be in the said
Advertisement mentioned not less than twenty Days after the setting
up the said Notices and Signify their desire to Purchase a seat or
Pew in the said Church or such Part of a Pew as the Vestry may
find can be Allotted to the Share of such ffreeholder and his Family
and the said Vestry shall Number the said Pews or Seats and take
the Names of the Persons so Applying and then Cause the said
Pews or Seats to be drawn by such of the Freeholders as aforesaid
by ballot in the same Manner as by this Act is directed for drawing
the Pews in the Lower Part of the Chapel in Chester Town and the
number each Person shall so draw shall entitle him his Heirs and
Assigns to the Pew or Seat of that Number and it shall be entered
on the Register Book Accordingly the Owner first Paying the Cost
of such Pew to the Vestry and the said Owner shall also Pay the
Register one shilling Current Money for such entry
