Wednesday June 15.th
The house met according to adjournment. The members were
called and all appeared as on yesterday. The proceedings of yesterday
were read.
Ordered that M.r speaker do issue his warrant to the secretary
of this province, requiring him to issue writs of election, directed
to the sheriff of Baltimore County for the electing four delegates for
that County, in the room of Messieurs John Ridgley, John Moale,
Robert Adair, and Thomas Cockey Deye, whose seats are vacated.
The bill entitled, an act for the relief of such persons, who con-
scientiously scruple the taking of an oath, read the second time; the
question was put whether the said bill do pass? Resolved in the
