opinion, that they are not duly elected; and that they are discharged
from any further attendance. In the course of the evidence, on the
petition of John Hammond Dorsey, it appearing to the house that
the petitioner had treated equally with any of the persons petitioned
against, the question was put, whether the said John Hammond
Dorsey be allowed any costs on his petition? Resolved in the
negative

mond Dorsey and Charles Ridgley jun.r and others.

John Ridout esquire from the upper house delivers to M.r speaker
a bill entitled an act for granting to the Nanticoke indians a com-
pensation for the lands therein mentioned; indorsed. "By the upper
house of assembly June 11.th 1768 Read the first time, and ordered
to lie on the table
