The governor communicates to M.r speaker the following message
Gentlemen of the lower house of assembly,
The indians that came last summer from Otsiningo to invite those
that live in this province to go back and become one people with
them, having, as they passed through this place, pressed me to give
them some match-coats and other necessaries, of which they were
in great want, I desired M.r Jacques to supply them with as many as
were by him charged at £12.14.7. and I was obliged to pay other
sums for provisions delivered to them, by sundry persons, and for
conveying them from one place to another, amounting together to
£33.12.5, as you will see by the inclosed account, which I lay before
you, not doubting, but when you consider the necessity I was under
of advancing this money, on the credit of the province, you will im-
mediately reimburse me.
June 13th 1768. Hor° Sharpe

The bill entitled an act to prohibit raising of swine and geese in
George town in Kent County, and in Snow Hill town in Worcester
County; read the second time and will pass. Sent to the upper house
