M.r Bordley brings in and delivers to M.r speaker a bill entitled
an act reviving and continuing an act, entitled an act to establish a
market at the market house in Chester Town in Kent County, and
for the regulation of the said market
M.r Jennings brings in and delivers to M.r speaker a bill entitled
an act for the relief of such persons, being protestants, who con-
scientiously scruple the taking of an oath. Also a bill entitled an
act appointing new visitors for the public school in Frederick
County and for other purposes therein mentioned.

Which bills are read the first time and ordered to lie on the
table.

Walter Dulany esquire from the upper house deliveres to M.r
speaker, the petition of Henry Casson and company, which is
referred to the consideration of the committee of accounts; and,
the petition of the vestry and churchwardens of saint John's parish,
in Queen Anns County.
M.r Gantt appeared in the house. The house adjourns 'til 2 o'clock
Post meridiem. The house met according to adjournment
The petition of the visitors of Kent County school read a second
time and granted: Ordered that M.r Ringgold, and M.r Bordley do
prepare and bring in a bill according to prayer.
The report of the committee appointed to enquire into the truth
of the fact set forth in the petitions of Spedding Bromwell and
Edward Bromwell of Talbot County, read the second time, and
leave given to bring in a bill according to the prayer of Spedding
Bromwell; and that the consideration of Edward Bromwells peti-
tion, be referred to the next general assembly.

Benedict Calvert esquire from the upper house, delivers to M.r

speaker, a bill entitled an act for the preservation of the breed of

fish; indorsed: By the upper house of assembly June 11.th 1768
