speaker, the petition of Robert Darnal and Sarah his wife; Henry
Steele, and Ann his wife; and John Henry, and Dorothy his wife;
indorsed "By the upper house of Assembly, June 4.th 1768: Read
and referred to the consideration of the lower house of assembly.

Which petition was read here the first and second time by an
especial order and granted.
On motion, leave given to bring in a bill to prevent the raising of
swine and geese, in Georgetown in Kent County and in Snow Hill
town in Worcester County.
Ordered that M.r Ringgold, M.r Gresham and M.r Bordley do
prepare and bring in the same.
Resolved, that the letters from the speaker of the house of bur-
gesses for the colony of Virginia, and the speaker of the house of
representatives, for Massachusetts Bay, be taken into consideration
on Wednesday next
The bill entitled an act to prevent the exportation of flour, staves,
and shingles, not merchantable, from the town of Baltimore in Balti-
more County, and to regulate the weight of hay and measure of
grain, salt flax-seed, and fire-wood within the said town, was read
the second time. The question was put, whether the said bill do pass ?
Resolved in the affirmative
