The house met according to adjournment. The members were
called, and all appeared as on yesterday. The proceedings of yester-
day were read. M.r M. Tilghman has leave of absence for a few days.
M.r Moale, M.r Ridgley, M.r Baxter and M.r Adair have leave of
absence 'til Monday next.
Ordered that the committee of grievances and Courts of justice
do send for all such papers, persons and things as they may find
necessary in order to enable them to execute the duties of the said
committee
The ingross'd bill entitled an act to enable Mary Darnal, an
infant, to enter into and accept of a marriage settlement and agree-
ment; was read and assented to; and with the paper bill sent to
the upper house by M.r Hall and M.r Hollyday.

Samuel Chamberlaine and Daniel Dulany esquires from the upper
house acquaint M.r speaker that the governor requires the attendance

M.r speaker left the chair, and (with the other members of the
lower house) went to the upper house, and there presented to the
governor the following ingross'd bills.
An Act for the adjournment and continuance of Talbot, Baltimore,
and Caecil County courts.
An act to enable Mary Darnal, an infant, to enter into, and accept
of a marriage settlement and agreement
Which bills his excellency pass'd into laws in the usual manner.
M.r speaker (with the rest of the members) returned to the lower
house, and resumed the chair
M.r Murdock and M.r Gantt have leave of absence 'til Monday next
John Ridout esquire from the upper house delivers to M.r speaker
the petition of Thomas Harrison; indorsed "June 4.th 1768: Read
and referred to the consideration of the lower house of assembly
