Monday May 30.th

The house met according to adjournment. The members were
called and all appeared as on Saturday except M.r Ringgold, M.r
Gresham, M.r Ridgley, M.r Moale, M.r Gantt and M.r Baxter.
The proceedings of Saturday were read. M.r Gantt appeared in
the house.
M.r M. Tilghman brings in and delivers to M.r speaker the fol-
lowing report
By the committee of elections and privileges, May 28.th 1768.

Your committee having inspected the writs directed to the several
Sheriffs and returns thereon, for electing deputies and delegates to
serve in this general assembly, do find that Mess.rs William Thomas,
Thomas Key, John Eden and Daniel Wolstenholme delegates of
saint Marys County are duly returned.
That Mess.rs Francis Ware, William Smallwood, John Hanson
jun.r and Joseph Hanson Harrison delegates of Charles County are
duly returned.
That Mess.rs Benjamin Mackall (son of Ja.s Jn.o) Young Parran,
Edward Gantt and Charles Grahame delegates of Calvert County
are duly returned.
That Mess.rs Samuel Chase, Brice Thomas Beale Worthington,
Thomas Johnson jun.r and Henry Griffith delegates of Ann Arundel
County are duly returned.

That Mess.rs John Hall and William Paca delegates of the City
of Annapolis are duly returned.
That Mess.rs Robert Lloyd, Edward Tilghman, James Hollyday
and Thomas Wright delegates for Queen Anns County are duly
returned.
That Mess.rs John Goldsborough, Matthew Tilghman, James
Dickinson and Nicholas Thomas, delegates of Talbot County are
duly returned.
That Mess.rs Henry Hooper, Daniel Sullivane, Philemon Lecompte
and Henry Steele delegates of Dorchester County are duly returned.
That Mess.rs Levin Gale, Samuel Wilson, William Hayward, and
Thomas Dashiel delegates of Somerset County, are duly returned.
That Mess.rs Robert Buchannan, Thomas Ringgold, Stephen
Bordley, and Richard Gresham, delegates of Kent County, are duly
returned.
That Mess.rs William Allen, Parker Selby, and Joseph Dashiel
delegates of Worcester County are duly returned, and that Zadock
Purnel is returned a delegate of said County; but that in his in-
denture, there is an omission of the following words viz.t "to those
things which then and there by the favor of God shall happen to be
ordained, by the advice and."
