The Bill, entitled, An Act for the speedy Foreclosure of Mort-
gages: Was referred on the second Reading to the next Session
of Assembly.

The Bill, entitled, An Act to remove a Nusance in Baltimore
Town, in Baltimore County, and for other Purposes therein men-
tioned ; was read the second Time, and will pass, and was sent to the
Upper House, by M.r Lee, and M.r Key.
The Bill, entitled, An Act to oblige infected Ships, and other
Vessels, coming into this Province, to perform Quarentine, was
read the second Time, and the Question was put, That the said
Bill do pass ? Resolved in the Affirmative

Which Bill was indorsed, Read the second Time, and will pass;
and was sent to the Upper House, by D. Wolstenholme, Esq and
Col. Henry.

The Bill, entitled, An Act to prevent the Exportation of Flour,
Staves, &ta from Baltimore Town, in Baltimore County, &.ta was
referred to the Consideration of next Assembly.

In Progression of reading the second Time, the Bill, entitled, An
Act for amending and repairing the Public Roads in Baltimore
County.

On Motion of Capt. Cockey Deye, That a Duty be laid on Pig
and Bar Iron exported out of Baltimore County, towards defraying
the Expence of keeping the Public Roads, in that County, in Repair.
The Question was put, Whether a Clause should be inserted in the
Bill for that Purpose, or not? The House being divided on the
aforegoing Question, it was determined in the Negative, by the
Honourable Speaker.
