Strong Liquors in small Quantities, without License, and for other
Purposes therein mentioned: Which was read the first and second
Time, passed and sent to the Upper House, by M.r Allen, and M.r
Gibson.
The Bill, entitled, An Act to repeal an Act for the Benefit of the
Poor, and Encouragement of Industry; was read the second Time,
and will not pass.
D. Dulany, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Petition of William Denune, of Prince George's County: In-
dorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly. Referred to the Con-
sideration of the Lower House."

Which Petition was read here the first Time, and Ordered to
lye on the Table.
On Motion of Mr Allen, Leave is given to bring in a Bill to repeal
an Act, entitled, An Act for the Benefit of the Poor, and En-
couragement of Industry, so far as the same extends to the Counties
of Talbot, Dorchester, Somerset, Calvert, and Worcester Counties.
M.r Allen brings in, and delivers to M.r Speaker, a Bill, entitled,
An Act to repeal an Act, entitled, An Act for the Benefit of the
Poor, and Encouragement of Industry, so far as the same extends
to Talbot, Dorchester, Somerset, Calvert, and Worcester Counties.
Which was read the first and second Time, by especial Order,
and will pass.

The Bill, entitled, An Act to repeal an Act, entitled, An Act to
prevent the Mischiefs arising from the Multiplicity of useless Dogs,
and other Purposes therein mentioned:
Was read the second Time, and the Question was put, That the
said Bill do pass? Resolved in the Negative.
