Nov. 10. 1766 Hor,,o Sharpe

Inclosing William Beall's, Conrod Crosh's, J. Valentine Shroin-
er's and T. Lewis's Accounts, and also of several Accounts and
Vouchers delivered Volunteers in Capt. M.cLelan's Company, raised
on the Frontiers the last Campaign; and the Petitions of William
Beall, and others, of Frederick County: Indorsed, "By the Upper
House of Assembly. Referred to the Consideration of the Lower
House."
A Petition of the Honble C. Goldsborough, Esq was preferred to
this House; Read and Ordered to lye on the Table.
B. Calvert, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker
a Petition of the Rector, Vestrymen, and sundry of the Inhabitants
of Somerset Parish, in Somerset County: and several Petitions
from languishing Prisoners in several County Goals in this Prov-
ince ; severally indorsed: "By the Upper House: Referred to the
Consideration of the Lower House." Which Petitions were here
read the first Time, and ordered to lye on the Table.
The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock

Tuesday, November 11.
The House met.
M.r Buchanan hath Leave of Absence.
On reading the Petition and Accounts of William Beall, John
Valentine Shroiner, Conrod Crosh, and T. Lewis, sent with his
Excellency's Message Yesterday: Ordered, That those Accounts
be allowed, at the Rate of 9.d per Day, for Provisions furnished
the Soldiers in last Campaign.
The Petition of Edward Beall, of Frederick County, was read
the second Time, and thereupon Ordered-, That the Petitioner be
allowed £250 in the Journal of Accounts; the Sum of £100 to be
applied to his own Use, and £30 to each of his five Sisters, Daughters
of Capt. Alexander Beall.

The Petition of David Ross was preferred to this House, pray-
ing to have an Assignment of an Allowance, ordered by this House
to be made on the Journal of Accounts to Capt. Evan Shelby, to
be inserted therein, in his, the said David Ross's Name: Which
Petition was read the first and second Time, and thereupon Or-
dered, That the Committee of Accounts do make an Allowance to
the said David Ross, according to the Prayer in his said Petition.
Richard Lee, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker
a Petition of Levin Wolford, a Petition of Lenas Martin, and a
Petition of James Barren, languishing Prisoners; severally in-
