Present as Yesterday

Read the second time the Bill Entituled An Act for the Preserva-
tion of the Breed of Fish and will Pass with the following Amend-
ment Sent by John Ridout Esq..r
In the 12th and 13.th Lines of the first Page Strike out the Words
"or suffer three Months Imprisonment without Bail or Mainprise"
In the 15.th and 16th Lines of the first Page leave out the Words
"towards defray the Public Charge" and insert the following Words
Vizt "as the General Assembly shall direct" In the 7.th line of the
2.d Page after the Word "aforesaid" insert the following Words
Viz.' "with full costs of Suit" In the 3.d line of the 3.d Page after
the Word "aforesaid" insert the following Words Viz..t "with full
Costs of Suit" In the 6..th line of the 3.d Page after the Word
"Potowmack" insert the following Words Viz.t "below the falls
aforesaid" In the 9..th line of the same Page leave out the
following Words Viz..t "Potowmack .River or in the Branches

thereof below the Mouth of the Eastern Branch of the said River"

and insert in lieu thereof the following Words Viz..t "any Part of
Potowmack River below the Mouth of the Eastern Branch or in
any of the Branches of the said River below the Mouth of the said
Eastern Branch"

Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon

gether with the Bill Entituled An Act for the Relief of certain
languishing Prisoners in the several Goals therein mentioned
By the Lower House of Assembly 3.d Dec:r 1766.

This House having heard and fully Considered the Allegations
of John Slye and Daniel Barnett contained in their Petitions against
the Relief of Mayberry Helms Jun.r of Baltimore County, that he
had made over to and otherwise deposited all or most of his Estate
with his Father in Trust, to defraud them his Securities for a large
