Read the second time the Bill Entituled An Act for the Preserva-
tion of the Breed of Fish and will Pass with the following Amend-
ment Sent by John Ridout Esq..^r
In the 12^th and 13.^th Lines of the first Page Strike out the Words
"or suffer three Months Imprisonment without Bail or Mainprise"
In the 15.^th and 16^th Lines of the first Page leave out the Words
"towards defray the Public Charge" and insert the following Words
Viz^t "as the General Assembly shall direct" In the 7.^th line of the
2.^d Page after the Word "aforesaid" insert the following Words
Viz.' "with full costs of Suit" In the 3.^d line of the 3.^d Page after
the Word "aforesaid" insert the following Words Viz..^t "with full
Costs of Suit" In the 6..^th line of the 3.^d Page after the Word
"Potowmack" insert the following Words Viz.^t "below the falls
aforesaid" In the 9..^th line of the same Page leave out the
following Words Viz..^t "Potowmack .River or in the Branches

thereof below the Mouth of the Eastern Branch of the said River"

and insert in lieu thereof the following Words Viz..^t "any Part of
Potowmack River below the Mouth of the Eastern Branch or in
