Liber E In a cause depending between George Lodge Plaintiff and Kalome
Maglouglin Deft the Deft by his Aft John Jones appeares to defend
the Suite and proves in Court that there was noe cause of accon,
whereupon the Court ordred that there Should be a non Suite entred
agt the Plaintiff wth Costs as followes :

In a cause depending between George Godfrey Plaintiff and Richd
Beck Deft, the Plaintiff by his Attorny John Jones complaines agt
the Deft For that the sd George Godfrey at the Speciall instance
of him the sd Richd did make and deliver two Sevall Coffins for
the desent buriall of the Father and Mother of him the sd Richd at
Sevall tymes at the price of two hundred and fifety poundes of ton:
and allso two payre of gloves to the value of Sixty poundes of ton:
and a payre of Shoes to the value of twenty & five pounds of tob in
all amounting to the Sume of three hundred thirty & five poundes
of ton: in consideracon whereof the Richd did promise to pay
[p. 179] the sd Sevall Sumes of tob: notwthstanding the sd Richd his promise
little regarding but fraudulently intending the sd George to deceive
& deprive of the three hundred thirty and five pds of tob though
often thereunto required, hath refused and Still doth refuse to pay
the Same to the sd Geo: to his damage five hundred poundes of
tob whereupon he brings his Suite, & the sd Geo: Proves his declara-
con by the othes of Allexander Gallant and Ralph Coates whereupon
it was ordred that judgmt Should be entred agt the Deft wth costs
as followes

In a cause depending between George Godfrey Plaintiff and Allex-
ander Sennet Deft the Plaintiff by his Attorny Jno Jones declares
agt the Defendant for tht he by force and armes one young mare of
the value of two thousand poundes of tob of the pp goods of him
the sd George pastureing and Som tyme Since abideing in the woods
he hath taken up and marked of his owne marke thereby endeavoure-
ing to allter the propty wch the sd George hath in the sd Mare
contrary to the peace of the Right Honble the Lord Propryetary &c
and to the damage of him the sd George three thousand poundes of
ton, whereupon he brings his Suite
And the Allexander Sennett by Samuell Cressy his Attorny comes
and defends the force and injury when &c and Sayes that he is not
