     Injured and in danger of Serveing Seven yeares except your Wor- Liber E
     shipps be pleased to take the prmisses into yr consideracons and
     grant him an order for his freedome together his Corne and
     clothes wch Your Peticoner humbly craves Your Worshipps would
     be pleased to doe, And Your Peticoner as in Duty bound Shall ever
     pray &c.
      And the sd Darner puts himselfe on the Countrey, whereupon the
     Comissioners ordred that a writt of Venire should be entred &
     directed to Sheriff wch was done, and twelve men Suthoned whose
     names are hereunder written, Imprimis
      Owen Jones foreman: Roger Dikeson: John Munn: Jn0 Lambert
     William Nevill: John Smith: Will Marloe: John Bissike: Robt
     Cossleton: Wm Grant: Henry Barnes: Robt Clarke: wch Jury brought
     in the ensueing Virdict vizt.
      that The Indenture belonged to Thomas Damour and by Virtue
     of it he is free, whereupon the Comissioners ordred that Judgemt
     Should be entred agt Jno Cage wth costs of Suite wch cost is hereunder
     written;
         To Atornys fees                 60 lb tob
         To attendance 3 Courts two dayes each Court... 180
         To Ambrose Hall for attendance two Courtes.. . 120

      Francis Kylborne and Francis Wine became bound to the Comis-
     sioners of this County In a bond of twenty thousand poundes of
     tobacco to beare them harmless from the Estate of an Orfane named
     Daniell Johnson:

      Samuell Cressy enters this followeing Lte of Att. upon reccord;
      Know all men by these prsents that I John Jarboe of St Marys
     County in the Province of Maryland Gent, have constituted ordeyned
     & appoynted & by these doth constitute ordeyne and appoynt Sam:
     Cressy of Charles County in the Province aforesd my true and
     lawfull Attorny for me and in my name and Stead to assure & con-
     firme unto Thomas Baker of the sd County my whole Title and
     Intrest of a Small parcell of Land formerly given to the sd Baker,
     being Part of a Pattent the remainder whereof was Sold to John [fol. 131]
     Nevill as all my Title & intrest in the land whereon the sd Thomas
     Baker now dwelleth and upon agreemt & Satisfaccon made by Thomas
     Warner of the same County to confirme unto the sd Thomas Warner
     the land whereon he the sd Warner liveth being another part of the
     Same Dividend, As allso for me & in my name & to my use to aske
     demand levye recover & receive of any pson or psons wtsoever any
     Such Sume or Sumes of tob as Shall be due from any pson or psons
     wtsoever, Giveing unto my sd Attorny my full power & Authority
