480 Charles County Court Proceedings, 167 1—1674. Liber E unto the sd Richard Carpender his heyres and Assignes for ever agst him the sd John Boyden his heyres and Assignes and against All and Every Person or Persons wtsoever Lawfully Clayming by from or under him them or any of them and agst All other Persons whatsoever Shall and will warrant and for Ever defende by theis Presents And the said John Boyden for himselfe his heyres Execrs and Administrrs doth Covenant Promise Grant and agree to and with the said Richard Carpender His heyrs and Assignes and Every of them by virtue of theis presents from time to tyme and Att all times for Ever hereafter lawfully Peacably and quietly have hold use Occupy possess and Injoy the said land and all and Singuler the before granted Premises wth their and Every of their rightes members and appurtenances and have receive and take the rentes Issues and proffittes thereof to his and their one Proper uses and behoofes wthout any manner of lett trouble Eviction or Interruption of or by Of or by the sayd John Boyden his heirs Execrs Administrrs or Assignes or any of them or of or by any other person or Persons wtsoever (the rentes) and services wth from henceforth from time to tyme for and in respect of theyr Seignory or Seignoryes one Excepted and foreprised In Witness whereof the Parties aforsd to theis Indentures have Interchangeably put their handes and. Sealles the day and year First abover written Testibus Luke Green John Boyden (locus Thomas Wharton Sigilli) Benjamin Rozer Acknowledgeth ths Inseweing Conveyance of lande unto John Mumm This Indenture made the 13th day of November Annoq domini 1673 between Benjamin Rozer of Charles County in the Province of Maryaland Gente of the one parte and John Munn of the said place Planter of the other parte Witnesseth thtt the sd Benjamin Rozer for and In Consideration Of two thousande poundes of Tobacco to him in hande payde by the sd John Munn the receipt whereof the sd Ben- jamin Rozer doth heerby Acknowledge, and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof, doth hereby absolutely and Clearly Exon- erate acquitt & dischardge the John Mumm his heyrs Execrs Ad- minisrs and Assignes by theis Presentes hath Given, granted, bar- gained Aliened Sould Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by theis presents give grante bargaine Alien, Sell, Enfeof and Confirme unto him the sd John Munn his heyres and Assignes for Ever, All tht Parcell or [fol. 124] tract of Lande Lying in Charles County Called (Morecrafts Freind- ship) beginning Att a marked Oake being the Eastermost bounde Tree of Two hundred Acres of Land lately taken up by Jeames Macky, standeing by A marsh by Chingamuxon Creeke and bounded by the said Creek North East for Eighty Perches to A marked blacke Oake standeing by A Marsh side, and being one of the Lyne Trees Of A Parcell of lande formerly belongeing to George Thomp- son now in the Possession of one Hill and So running up the said |
