     or regarding but devising & fraudulently intending them the Sd John Liber E
     & Robert of the Said Sume of 359 lb tobaccoe to deceive the Sd Sume
     of 359 lb tobaccoe hath not Satisfyed but doth altogether refuse to
     pay the Same whereupon the Said John & Robert Say they are
     damnified & have loss to the vallew of 500 lb tobaccoe & thereupon
     they bring their Suite
      And accordingly the Said John & Robert produced an accot in a
     booke belonging to the Said Francis Bullock wch Said accot the Sd
     Henry Bonner having perused & allowing it to be a Just accot the
     Court gave Judgemt agt the Said Henry Bonner for the Said Surñe
     of Three hundred fifty nine pounds of Tobaccoe         Costs of Suite:
      And the Said John & Robert requested the Court would bee
     pleased to grant them liberty till the next Court to bring in an accot
     of their Costs & dammages Susteyned by them by the default of the
     Said Henry Bonner in not paying the Tobaccoe menconed in the
     above written Judgements which was granted.

      In a Certain matter of difference depending between Edmond
     Lendsey plt & Thomas Abbott defendant in a plea of trespas upon the
     Case upon mr popes promise of Satisfaccon of the debt to Edmond
     Lendsey the Said busines was Compounded.
      Thomas Jenkins recordeth his marke A Crosse the Right Eare
     and a hole in the Crosse & a Slitt on the left Eare.

      Robert Crosman plt by his Atturney Marke Cordier Came & ap-
     peared to prosecute his Suite Comenced by him agt Thomas Warner
     deft who likewise appeared to defend the Same in an accon of debt
     for the Sume of one thousand Seven hundred & Seven pounds of
     Tobaccoe, whereupon the plt preferred this Ensueing declaracon to
     be read in Court.
      Charles County ss, Robert Crosman by his Atturny Marke Cordier
     Complaineth agt Thomas warner For that whereas the Said Thomas
     warner Stands indebted to him the Said Robert the just quantity
     of one thousand Seaven hundred & seaven pounds of Tobaccoe &
     Caske as p his Bill under his hand & Seale Bearing date the 18th day
     of February 1669 will more plainly appeare Now the Said Thomas
     the Said Sume of 1707 lb of tobaccoe Refusing & Denying to pay &
     Satisfy although often thereunto required but he the Said Thomas
     intending fraudulently to Cozen & deceive the Said Robert of the
     Said 1707 lb tobacco and Caske he therefore Bringeth his Suite and
     prayeth yor worps Judgemt for the Same wth Costs & Charge of Suite.

      And for Confirmacon of this his declaracon he produced this En-
     sueing Bill.
      Know all men by these pnts that I Thomas Warner of St Georges
     Milne in the County of St Maryes & province of Maryland am holden
     and firmly Bound unto Capt Robert Crosman Comander of the
