300 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674.
Liber E himselfe his heyres Executrs & Administrs doe covenant promise
grant & agree to & wth the said John Payne his heyres & Assignes
and every of them by these prsents in manner and form followeing,
That is to say tht he the sayd Francis Addams at the tyme at the
ensealeing and delivery of these prsents, is & untill, a good pure
pfect & absolute Estate of Inheretance, of all and singular the
afore granted prmisses and every part & parcell thereof, shall be
fully settled and executed in and upon the said John Payne his
heyres according to the true meaneing of these prsents, shall remayne
continue and be Seized of, and in the sayd one hundred acres of
Land, And all and all & Singular other the prmisses in and by these
prsents granted bargained & Sold wth all theyre Rights members
and Appurtenances, of a good pure pfect and absolute Estate of
Inheretance in fee Simple, wthout any condicon revercon remaynder
or limittacon to any use or uses, Estate or Estates in or to any
pson or psons wtsoever to allter or change, defeate determyne or
make voyde the same And tht the sayd Francis Adams at the tyme
of the ensealeing and delivery of these prsents, is & untill a good
pure pfect and absolute Estate of Inheretance of all & singular the
afore graunted prmisses, and every part and parcell thereof, Shall be
fully vested setled and executed in and upon the sayd John Payne
and his heyres, according to the true meaneing of these prsents, Shall
remayne and continue and be seized of, and in the sd one hundred
acres of Land, and all and Singular other the prmisses in and by these
prsents graunted bargayned & Sold, wth all & every theyre Rights
members and Appurtenances, of a good pure pfect and absolute
Estate of Inheritanc in fee Simple wthout any condicon revercon re-
maynder or limitacon, to any use or uses Estate or Estates, in or
to any pson or psons wtsoever, to aliter change defeate determyne
or make voyde the same, And tht the sd Francis Adams at the tyme
of the ensealeing and delivery of these prsents, hath full power good
Right and lawfull Authorety to graunt bargayne sell and convey all
and singular the before graunted prmisses wth theyre and every of
theyre appurtenances unto the sayd John Payn his heyres and As-
signes in manner and forme aforesd And tht he the sd John Payne
his heyres and Assignes and every of thm Shall and may by force
[lot. 28] and virtue of these prsents from tyme to tyme and at all tymes here-
after lawfully peaceably and quyetly, have hold use occupy possess
and enjoy, the sayd one hundred acres of Land, And all and Singular
the before granted prmisses, wth all theyre Rights membrs and ap-
purtenances, and have receive and take the Rents Issues and pfitts
thereof, to his and theyre use and behoofe forever, wthout any
lawfull lett Suite trouble denyall interrupcon eviction, or disturbance
of the sd Francis Adams his heyres or Assignes or of any other
pson or psons lawfully clayming by from or under him, thm or
any of thm, or by his or theyre meanes, act consent titles Interest
or pcuremt, and tht free and cleare, and freely and clearely, acquitted
