286 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674.

        Liber E    theyre heyres and Assignes forever, and the sd Luke Greene doth for
              himselfe his heyres Executors & Administrators covenant promise
              and grant to and wth the sd Richard Midgely & Rice Waineman theyre
              heyres Executors Administrators & Assignes tht he the Luke
              Greene is now lawfully & Justly possest of a Just and due title &
              claime in law of & in the before bargained prmisses and hath full
              and absolute power to bargaine sell and assure the same and tht
              the prmisses now are and forever hereafter shall be and continue
              free and cleare, and freely and clearely acquitted exonerated & dis-
              charged of and from all and singuler former and other bargaines
              Sales gifts grantes leases rents mortgages Joyntures dowers claimes
              demandes and incumbrances wtsoever by him thm or any of thm
              formerly had done or comitted or to be had done or comitted And
              the sd Luke Greene Greene for himself e his Executrs & Administratrs
              the aforesd parcell of land and all and Singuler the prmisses before
              granted bargained & sold wth the appurtenances unto the sd Richard
              Midgely and Rice Waineman theyre heyres and Assignes forever
              agt him the sd Luke Greene his heyres & Assignes & agt all and
              every pson and psons wtsoever lawfully claimeing by from or
              under him thm or any of thm and agt all other psons wtsoever shall
              & will warrt & forever defend by these psents, And the sd Luke
              Greene for himselfe his heyres Executrs Administrs doth covenant
              promise and grant to and wth the Richard Midgly and Rice Waine-
              man theyre heyres and assignes and every of thm shall and may
              by force and virtue of these prsents from tyme to tyme and at all
              tymes forever hereafter lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold
              use occupie and injoy the said land and all and singuler the before

              pfitts thereof to theyre owne uses and behoofes wthout any
              manner of lett trouble eviccon or inturrupcon of or by the sd Luke
              Greene his heyres Executrs Administratrs or Assignes or any of
              thm or of or by any other pson or psons wtsoever, the rents & ser-
              vices wch from henceforth from tyme to tyme for and in respect of
              the first menconed pmisses hereby sold shall grow due & payable
              to the cheife Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees thereof for or in
              respect of his or theyre Seignory or Seignoryes only excepted and
              foreprized, In witness whereof the partyes aforesd to these In-
              dentures have interchangeably sett theyre handes and seales the day
