[p.69] Capt Robert Troope his Deede of Gift to Richard Harrison Sonn
of Mr Joseph Harrison
To all Christian people to whome these prsnts shall Come greeting
in our Lord God everlasting Whereas Capt Robert Troope late of
Charls County in the Province deceased did in his life time pay
unto Thoms Allanson of the same County & Province Gentlm the sume
of three thousand pounds of tobacco & Cask the receipt whereof he
doth by these prsnts acknowledg & Confess & thereof & of every
part & parcell thereof doth acquitt release & discharge the said
Robert Troope his heirs Exectrs & Adrninistrs by these prsents for
& in Consideracon whereof the said: Thomas Allanson was bound to
[p 70] make a firme Conveyance unto the said Robert Troope of One
hundred & fifty Acres of Land called French Lewis wch said Land
the said Troope hath given & devised unto Richd Harrison the sone
of Joseph Harrison by his last Will & Testamt; now Know yee tht
the said Thoms Allanson for & in Consideracon of the above men-
tioned prernisses as alsoe for diverse other good' causes him there-
unto moveing Hath given granted Aliened bargained sold & Con-
firmed & by these prsnts doth give grant aliene bargaine sell &
Confirme unto the said Richd Harrison all tht parcell or tract of
Land called French Lewis lying on the north of Avon river con-
taineing one hundred & fifty Acres more or less Adjoyning to the
[p. 71] land formerly laid out for James Lee And beginning att the said
Lee's Eastermost bound Oake as by the Pattent relation being
thereunto had may more att large appeare together all houses
buildings Gardens Orchards yards backsides Easemts lands tenemts
meadows Feedings pastures Woods Under woods wayes Proffitts
Comodities Hereditamts & appurtenances whatsoever to the said land
or premises or to any part or parcell thereof belonging or in any
manner of waies appertaineing as also all the Estate right title
Interest use property claime & demand of him the sd Thoms Allan-
son of in or to the same & alsoe all deeds writings & evidences
wtsoever touching or Concerning the Premises or any Part or Parcell
[p. 72] thereof To have & to hold the aforesd parcell of land & all & singular
other the prmises wth their & every of their rights members and
Appurtenances wtsoever unto the sd Richd Harrison his heirs & As-
signes for ever And the sd Thoms Allanson doth for himself his
