Henry Moore for goeing to Piscataway is ordered to have 400 lb
of tobacco

To all Christian people whome this prsnt writeing shall come
Know yee tht I Wm Marshall of Piquasquo in Charles County in the
Province of Maryland Planter as well for the good will & pious
affection tht I beare unto the Inhabitants of Charl's County & par-
ticularly to the Protestant Minister & inhabitants of the same, as also
for other good causes & consideracons me hereunto especially move-
ing have given granted & Confirmed & by these prsnts doe give
grant & Confirme unto the sd Minister & inhabitants all & singular
the Cattle of wt kind soever the same be or in wt place or places the
[p.2] same shall or may be found Comonly called the Church Cattle
marked a Crope on both eares & some one, others two slits on
the left being in the prsnt Custody of Francis Pope & Bridgett Legatt
to the number of thirty or thereabout yöng & old, to have & to hold
all & singular the aforesd Cattle whether male or female to the uses
& behooffs hereafter mentioned & not other wise tht is to say tht the
Minister for the time being elected & chosen by the major part of
the Protestant inhabitants wthin the limits hereafter mentioned shall
have & hold to his use tenn Cowes to have the benefitt of their milk
for the time & terme of his Continuance as Minister in the sd place
[p.3] & not otherwise as also the whole Proffitt of the increase of the sd
Cow's to his own proper benefitt & behooffe forever to dispose of at
his owne proper & pticular will & pleasure together wth one fatt steere
for the prop use & benifitt of the prsnt Minister Mr Mathew Hill to be
deliver'd to him at the time of yeare when the same shall become
