      John Helmes as marrying the Widdow of John Mills came & ap- Liber D
     peared to prosecute the suite by him comenced agt Richd Roe
      Richd Roe Deft came alsoe & Appeared to defd the suite com-
     menced agt him by John Helmes
      Whereupon Raiph Coats Attur for the plt pduced the Deciar: &
     then the Deft desired a Veiwe of John Heimes Lettr of Administra-
     con wch could not be pduced & hereupon the Court granted the Deft a
     nonsuite wth Costs & chargs of suite

      Maverill Hulst came to prosecute the sute by him Comenced agt
     Walter Beane John Boules & John Courts Admtrs of the goods &
     Chattles of Thoms Bull Lately deed
      Walter Beane & John Boules & John Courts came & appeared to
     defd the sute agt them Comenced by Maverill Hulst
      The plt pretended tht John Courts promised upon his being
     arrested to Confess Judgmt for 600 lb of tob wch the sd Bull deed
     promised the plt for makeing his will & perfecting his bookes but
     the Deft made appear tht he owed soc much to the estate of the
     sd Bull deed & wch as yet remained unpd soe tht he haveing the tob
     in his owne hands they thought he had noe cause of Ace:
      Whereupon they craved a nonsuite wch was granted & they alsoe [p. 135]
     preferred this bill of Costs wch was allow'd
           for 3 daies Attendance att 3090

     agt Geo: Thompson

     comenced agt him by Thoms Hussey

      And whereupon the sd Thoms complaineth agt the M George for
     tht whereas the sd George by a certaine writing undr the sd Georges
     hand beareing date the 31 of xber in the yeare of our Lord 1668 did
     become bound unto the sd Thoms Hussey tht he the sd Geo: would
     pay unto Willi Marshall for the use of the sd Thoms the sume of
     337 lb of tob as by the sd writeing here in Court by the sd Thoms
     produced more att large may appeare never the less the sd George
     his obligacon little regarding but devisely & fraudulently intending
     him the sd Thoms of the sd sume of 337 lb of tob to deceive
     the sd sume of 337 lb of tob to the sd Willi Marshall hath not pd
     according to his sd obligacon to him in tht behalf e made but doth
