Thomas King doth Acknowledge this ensueing Conveyance of [p. 113]
100 Acres to Alex: Davies
This Indenture made the ninth of 9br in the yeare of our Lord 1669
Between Tho: King of Charls County in the Province of Maryland
pltr of the one part & Alex: Davies of the aforesd County pltr on the
other part Witnesseth tht the sd Thomas King as well for as in Con-
sideracon of 4000 lb of tob & Cask to him in hand pd by the sd
Davis the receipt whereof the sd King doth hereby acknowledge &
himself to be therewth fully satisfied Contented & pd & thereof &
therefrom & of & from every part & parcell thereof doth acquitt &
discharge the sd Davies his heirs Exectrs Admitrs by these prsnts
Hath bargained sold aliened enfeoffed assg'd & set over & by these
prsnts doth fully & clearely bargaine sell Aliene enfeoff & Confirme
unto the sd Davies his heirs & Assgs for ever all tht parcell & tract
of land scituate lying & being up the Eastermost branch of Avon
river formerly called Nonjemy Creek begifling at a birtch tree being
the eastermost bound tree of Capt Wm Stones land called Pointon (*)
standing on the east side of a fresh runn runing thence N & by W
for breadth 64 perches to a bounded white oake thence W: N: W:
for length 250 perches to a bounded spanish Oake thence S; 64
perches to a bounded red oak and thence untill it come to the first
bound tree containeing & ld out for 100 Acres more or less it being
parte of the land taken up p Mr James Lendsy but now in tht pos-
session of Thomas King wth & singular the houses Edifices buildings
orchards pastures meadows Feedings waies water water courses
yards backsides Easemts pfitts Comodites & Appurtenances to the
sd prmises or any part or parcell thereof belonging or in any wise
appertaineing & also all the rights estate title interest use ppty pos-
session reversion dame & demand of him the sd King of & in the
same, To have and to hold the foresd parcell of land & all & singular
other the prmises before granted bargain'd & sold wth their and
every of their rights members & Appurtenances wtsoever unto the
sd Davies his heirs & assgs for ever & the sd King doth for himself
