204 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1668—1670.

         Liber D    ever hereafter shall be & Continue free & cleare & freely & clearly
               acquited exonerated & dischardged of & from all & singular other
               bargaines sales gifts grants leases rent arrearges of rents rent charges
               Margages Joyntures, Dowres right & title of Dowr's claimes or
               demands wtsoever of him them or any of thm had done or Comited
               or to be had done or Comited And the sd Adams for himself his
               heirs Exectrs Admistrs doth Covent pmise & grant to & wth the sd
               Jones his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assgs by these prsents tht the sd
               Jones his heirs Extr Admistrs & Assgs & every of thm shall & may by
               force & vertue of these prsents from time to time & att all times
               hereafter lawfully quietly & peacably have hold use occupy possess
               & enjoy the sd land & all & singular the prmises before granted
               theire & every of their rights members & Appurtenances & have rec:
               & take the rents Issues & pfits thereof to his or theire own pper use
               & behoofes wthout any manner of lett trouble eviction or interuption
               of or by the sd Adames or of or by his heires Extrs or Admistrs or of
         [p.96]     or by any person or Persons lawfully claimeing by from or under
               thm or any of thm or by his their or any of their means or procuremt
               The rents & services which from henceforth shall grow due & payable
               to the cheife Ld or LdS of the fee or fees thereof for his Seignory or
               Seignorys only excepted or fore prized & the sd Francis for himself
               his heirs Extrs & Admistrs doe further Covent & agree to & wth the
               sd Rich: his his Extrs Amistrs tht he the sd Francis his heirs Extrs
               & Administrs shall & will at any time or times wthin seven years
               next following upon the request & att the Cost & Charege of the
               sd Rich: his heirs Extrs & Assgs make & deliver such furthe Assur-
               ance & Assurances for the prmjses as he the sd Jones his heirs &
               Asggs or any of thm or his or their or any of thr Councell learned
               in the laws shall him the sd Adams his heirs Extrs or Admistrs or
               any of thm thereto require And the sd Adams for himself his heires
               Extrs Admistrs & Assgs all & singular the before bargained prmises
               wth their appurtenances & every part & parcell thereof unto the sd
               Jones his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assgs to the intent & means aforesd
               shall & will warrant & for ever defend by these prsents In witness
