202 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1668—1670.

          Liber D This Indenture made the eight day of June 1669 Betweene John
          Munn of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Plt of the
          one parte & Wm Nevill of the County & province aforesd of the
          othr pte Witneseth tht the sd John Munn for & in Consideracon of
          2700 lb Tobacco to be pd on or before the tenth day of 9br next en-
          sueing the date hereof Hath given granted bargained sold Assigned
          & set over & by these prsents doth fully clearly & absolutely give
          grant bargaine sell Assigne & set over unto the sd Wm Nevill all tht
          parcell of land formerly laid out for Thomas Cotes lying scituate &
          being in Charles County on the south side of Piscatoway river on
          the East side of a Creek in the sd river called St Thomas or Mata-
          [p. 94] woman Creeke adjoyning to Land formerly laid out for David
               Prichard begining att Prichards North west bound tree & runing
               north & by east up the Creek for breath 75 perchs to a marked oake
               bounding on the north by a line drawen northeast from the end
               of the north & by east line for lenght 100 perches & by a line drawn
               east from the end of the northeast line for lenght 220 perchs on the
               east by a line drawn South & by west from the end of the east line
               unto the sd Prichards land on the south Wth the sd land on the west
                the sd Creek qt & now laid out for 150 Acres more or less to-
               gether wth all & singular the houses edifices buildings barnes stables
               orchards yards lands meadows pastures feedings comons woods
               underwoods water water Courses fishings fowlings waies easemts
               pfitts Comodities & hereditamts wtsoever to the sd Land & prmises
               belonging or in any mannr or way apperteining to have & to hold the
               sd parcell of land & all & the before bargained prmises wth their &
               every of their rights members & appurtenances & every pte & pcell
               thereof unto the sd Wm Nevill his heirs Exectrs & Administrs to his
               & their ow proper use & behoofe lot ever the sd Wm Ncvill his heirs
               Exectrs & Admistrs paying the Ld Proprietarys rents from time to
               time as it shall become due for & in respect of the premises, & the sd
               John Munn doth further Covent pmise & grant to & Wth the sd Wm
               Nevill tht he the sd Wm Nevill his heirs Executrs Admistrs & Assgs shall
               & may by force & vertue of these prsents peaceably & quietly have hold
               occupy & possess & enjoy all and Singular the prmises before men-
               tioned & every part & parcell throf wth every of their rights titles
               members & Appurtenances wthout the law full let sute trouble eviction
               or interruption of him the said Munn or of or by him his heirs Exectrs
               & Administrs or of or by any person or person lawfully claiming by
               from or under him them or any of them or by his their or any of their
               title estate meanes or pcuremt & the sd Munn for himself his heires
               Exectrs & Admistrs all & singular the before bargained prmises
               their & every of their rights members & Appurtenances to the intent
               & meaning aforesd to the sd Nevill his heirs Exectrs Admistrs &
               Assgs shall & will warrant & for ever defend by these prsents Pro-
               vided alwaies tht if the above named Wm Nevill his heirs Exectrs
               Admistrs & Assgs shall not on or before the tenth day of November
