      Hereupon the Plaintife declared against the Defendt in manner                     Liber C
     and forme as followeth
      To the Worple the Commisionrs of Charles Countie
      Whereupon the said John Complaineth against the said Bennet for
     tht tht is to say That Whereas the said Bennet became indebted unto
     the said John in the Summe of 2777 lb of tobaccoe, & being soe
     indebted obliged himselfe by Bill bearing date the 26th of Februarie
     1666 and Signed Sealed and delivered as his act and deed to the
     said John for the true payment of the same to have been made
     according to the said Bill at or before the 10th Day of November
     last past on the said Bennets owne Plantacon yet Notwithstanding
     the said Bennet litle regarding his said obligacon but plotting and
     fraudulentlie intending him the said John of the said 2777th of
     tobaccoe to deceave and defraud the same to him the said John
     at the time and place according to his said obligacon hath not
     paid and delivered or in anie manner for the same satisfied but
     the same to him hitherto to pay & deliver hath ailtogether refused
     and as yet refuseth to the Dammage of him the said John Where-
     upon he brings his suite.
      Hereupon the Defendt brought the Sherrife into Court to Con-
     fesse tht he had receaved of Bennet Marchagay the Defendt the
     summe of 1489 lb of tobaccoe for the use of the Plaintife in pant
     of payment of the said Bill menconed in the Declaracon and for
     the Remainder being the Summe of 1288 lb of tobaccoe the Defendt
     acknowledged a Judgment for the same to the Plaintife
      Ordered Therefore tht the Defendt Satisfie and Pay unto the
     Plaintife the said Summe of 1288 lb of tobaccoe wth Costs of suite
     or else Execucon.

      Likewise the Defendts did pensonallie appeare to defend the same.

     tobaccoe, and being soe indebted did oblige themselves by Bill
     joyntlie passed by them bearing date the 12th Day of March 1666/7,
     and Signed Sealed and delivered as their Joynt act and deed unto
     him the said. William for the true Payment of the same to have
     been made according to the said Bill at or upon the 10th of November
