And be it further Enacted that each of the said Commissioners
shall be allowed the Sum of Sixty four Pounds of Tobacco for
each Day he shall attend in the Execution of this Act, and the Sur-
veyor of the County aforesaid shall be allowed the Sum of Eighty
Pounds of Tobacco for each Day he shall attend in the Execution
of this Act, and the said Clerk to the Commissioners shall be allowed
the Sum of Sixty four Pounds of Tobacco for each Day he shall
attend the said Commissioners, and the said Clerks of the County
Courts aforesaid shall be allowed their legal Fees for inrolling th~e
said Certificates, all which Allowances shall be made and assessed
in the Public Levy of Queen Anns County at the November Court
next after the said Services done, and shall and may be paid and
discharged in the same Manner that other County or Parish Taxes
are or may be paid & discharged

And Whereas sundry of the Inhabitants of the Southern Quarter
of Saint Pauls Parish aforesaid by their humble Petition to this
general Assembly have represented that the Chapel called Wye
Chapel in the said Parish is so small and incommodious that near one
half of the Inhabitants in that Part of the said Parish are without
Seats or any other Conveniency to attend Divine Worship therein;
and have therefore humbly prayed that an Act may be passed for
levying on the Inhabitants of the said Parish by three equal annual
Assessments the Sum of thirty thousand Pounds of Tobacco to be
applyed towards building an Addition and Galleries to the said
Chapel
Be it therefore Enacted by the Authority Advice and Consent
aforesaid that the Justices of Queen Anns and Talbot Counties
aforesaid shall be and they are hereby impowered and required to
Levy on the Taxable Inhabitants of Saint Pauls Parish aforesaid
within the said Counties respectively the Sum of thirty thousand
Pounds of Tobacco together with the Sheriffs Salary of five Pounds
of Tob.o p Centum for Collecting the same by three equal Assess-
ments, that is to say one third Part thereof at their November

Courts which shall be in the Year One Thousand seven hundred
and Sixty six, one third Part thereof at their November Courts
which shall be in the Year One thousand seven hundred and Sixty
seven, and one third Part thereof at their November Courts which
shall be in the Year One thousand seven hundred and Sixty eight
which said Sum of thirty thousand Pounds of Tobacco shall and
may be collected by the Sheriffs of the said Counties respectively
together with their Commission as aforesaid and may be paid and
discharged by the Parishioners aforesaid in the same Manner that
other County and Parish Taxes are Collected paid and discharged
and shall be by the said Sheriffs accounted for and paid to the
Vestry and Church Wardens of Saint Pauls Parish aforesaid for
