[Regard to
be had to the
Number of
Taxables,
&c.]

Provided always that the said Commissioners in laying out anew
and dividing the said Parishes shall have regard to the number of
Taxables to be Contained in each Parish so as to leave the yearly
Income of Saint Luke's Parish as near the Sum of fforty five thousand
Pounds of Tobacco, and the yearly Income of Saint Pauls Parish
as near the Sum of fforty thousand Pounds of Tobacco as con-
veniently may be with Respect to the Facility of the said Division
and the Intention of this Act.

to be made,
signed and
lodged with
the clerks]

And be it further enacted that the said Commissioners or the
major Part of them as soon as Conveniently may be after they
shall have laid out anew the said Parishes shall Cause the said
Surveyor to make out two distinct and fair Certificates of the
Bounds and Limits as well natural as artificial of each of the said
Parishes so as aforesaid to be by them settled, and ascertained and
one other such Certificate of the Bounds & Limits of each of the
said Parishes which shall extend into Talbot County, which Cer-
tificate shall be signed by the said Commissioners or the major Part
of them and the said Surveyor one of which Certificates of the
Bounds and Limits of each Parish shall be returned by the said
Commissioners to the County Court which shall be next after the
making and Compleating the Division aforesaid held for Queen
Anns and Talbot Counties respectively in the Month of June next
and one other to the Vestry of each Parish respectively at their next
Meeting after the making and Compleating the said Division

And be it further Enacted that upon the Return of the said Cer-
tificate the said County Courts shall Cause the Clerks of the said
Courts respectively to inroll the same among the Land Records of the
said Courts and the Vestry of each Parish aforesaid shall Cause the
Certificate of the Bounds and Limits of their Parish to be entered
in the Register of their Proceedings, and the Bounds and Limits of
the said Parishes being so as aforesaid Certified, inrolled, and entered

Registers]

in the Registers, shall be and shall hereafter be deemed and held to
be the true and certain Bounds and Limits of the said Parishes
respectively, any former Law to the Contrary Notwithstanding

Book of
Entries]

And be it further Enacted that the said Commissioners shall
together with the Certificates aforesaid Return to the said County
Court of Queen Ann's County the Book Containing the Entries of
their Proceedings in the Premisses, which shall be carefully kept
and preserved by the Clerk of the said Court

[Hundreds
to be laid
out a-new, if
necessary]

And be it further Enacted that the said County Courts of Queen
Anns and Talbot Counties on Receipt of the said Certificates shall
at their said Courts to be held in the Month of June next respectively
regulate and lay out anew if need be the several Hundreds contained
in the said Parishes in such Manner that each of the said Parishes
shall contain entire Hundreds.
