mentioned shall Always be deemed taken and reputed to be the un-
doubted Lines and bounds to divide the Parishes aforesaid and that
the Inhabitants of Chester Parish aforesaid shall have and enjoy all
Such Benefits, Priviledges Powers and Authorities in every respect
as the Inhabitants of any other Parish within this Province now have
or hereafter may have or enjoy as Parishioners

[Vestrymen
&c. to be
Chose]

And be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid that the Freeholders
of the said new erected Parish shall have full and ample Power to
meet at the aforesaid Cross Roads called I. U. on the first Tuesday
in January next ensuing, and then and there to elect and make
choice of Six Vestrymen and two Church Wardens to Serve as a
Vestry of the said Parish for the ensuing year and untill the Easter
Monday then next following and the same afterwards to alter and
renew at Such Times and in Such Manner as the Laws of this Prov-
ince do direct for other Parishes, and that the said Vestrymen and
Church Wardens shall be vested with the same Powers Priviledges
and Authorities as Vestrymen and Church Wardens of other Parishes
within this Province are vested with and Whereas the reverend
George William Forrester the present Incumbent of Shrewsbury
Parish aforesaid has by Indorsement on the said Petition consented

for the advantage of his Parishioners, and that they may have a
place of Worship more convenient for them, that a Portion of his
Parish on the Western or Lower Side of Morgans Creek and
Lloyds Creek and of a Line drawn from the Head of one of those
Creeks to the Head of the other shou'd be immediately detached
from his Parish for the Benefit of the Incumbent of the new intended
Parish, Nevertheless this Act is not intended to take from the said
George William Forrester during his Life or Residence in his said
Parish any more of his said Parish than he has freely and Volun-
tarily consented to as aforesaid Be it therefore Enacted by the
Authority aforesaid that it shall and may be Lawfull for the said

George William Forrester to continue to officiate and Serve as In-
cumbent in Such part of the said new erected Parish within the
antient Bounds of Shrewsbury Parish as lies without the Bounds
of that part, that he as aforesaid, consented should be immediately
detached therefrom and to receive the income and Proffits thereof
During his Natural Life or so long as he shall continue Incumbent
of Shrewsbury Parish aforesaid or untill he shall voluntarily quit the
same any Law, Statute, Custom or Usage to the Contrary Not-
withstanding.
And whereas the Inhabitants of the said new intended Parish have
heretofore been taxed for building the Churches of the said old
Parishes, it is thought reasonable that all the Inhabitants of both
old and new Parishes should contribute to the Building the Church
and enlarging the Chappie of the said new Parish. Be it therefore
Enacted by the Authority aforesaid that it shall and may be Lawfull
for the Justices of Kent County Court to Assess and Levy on all
