Be it enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by
and with the advice and Consent of his Lordship's Governor and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of
the same That one Act of Assembly of this Province entituled an
Act to prevent certain evils and Inconveniences attending the Sale
of Strong Liquors and running of Horse Races near the yearly
Meetings of the People called Quakers and to prevent the Tumultu-
ous concourse of Negroes and other Slaves during the said Meetings
made at a session of Assembly begun and held at the City of An-
napolis the Sixteenth day of May one Thousand Seven hundred and
forty Seven; and also one other Act of Assembly of this Province
entituled an Act to amend and explain an Act, entituled an Act to
prevent certain evils and Inconveniences attending the Sale of Strong
Liquors and running of Horse Races near the yearly Meetings of the
People called Quakers and to prevent the tumultuous Concourse of
Negroes and other Slaves during the said Meetings made at a session
of Assembly begun and Held at the City of Annapolis the third
day of June one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty two be and are
hereby continued and shall remain and be in full force for and
during the Term of Seven years next ensuing and to the end of the
next Session of Assembly which shall happen after the end of the
Said Seven years.
