at Law of the said Samuel Ogle, to whom the said tracts of Land
have descended being a Minor and incapable to Sell and convey the
said Lands. The Annual Charge of Quit Rents without any Proffit
from the said Lands to answer the same is a Burden upon the other
Estate of the said Minor. And that the said Ann Ogle Mother and
the said Benjamin Tasker Grandfather and Guardian of the said
Minor, and also Executor of the aforesaid Samuel Ogle deceased,
conceive that it would be for the Advantage of the said Minor to have
the said Lands Sold and the Money arising from such Sale put out
to Interest for his Use: That the said John Hammond hath agreed
to and with the said Benjamin Tasker, to whom the Care of the said
Minor during his Minority hath been committed to give and pay for
the said two Tracts of Land the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds
Sterling in Case the Right and Title of the said Benjamin Ogle in and
to the said Lands, clear of, and discharged from all Dower and claim
of Dower of the aforesaid Ann Ogle, may be Vested in the said
John Hammond:" And Whereas it appears to this general Assembly,
on consideration of the Matters in the said Petition contained and
of the Report of the Committe appointed to examine into the Tracts
alledged therein; That it would correspond with the general Scope and
Intention of the last Will and codicil thereto of the said Samuel Ogle
Esquire deceased, and be conducive to the Benefit and Advantage of
the aforesaid Benjamin Ogle, Son and Heir at Law and Devisee of
the said Samuel Ogle: That the Prayer of the said Petition be
Granted.

Be it therefore Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Pro-
prietary by and with the Advice and consent of his Lordships Gov-
ernor and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the
Authority of the Same, That upon the payment of the sum of one
hundred and fifty Pounds Sterling Money by the aforesaid John
Hammond to the aforesaid Benjamin Tasker according to the Terms
of the Agreement between them in that Behalf made and in the said
Petition mentioned, The Right, Title, Interest and Estate of the
said Benjamin Ogle in and to the Lands aforesaid, and each of them
and every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their
appurtenances, shall in Virtue of this Act be effectually transferred
to and vested in the said John Hammond his Heirs and Assigns,
clear of and exempted and discharged from all Dower Right, Title
claim and demand of Dower of the said Ann Ogle, in, of or to the
same, and any and every part or parcel thereof, according to the
prayer of the said Petition. And

Be it enacted by the Authority Advice and consent aforesaid.
That as Soon as conveniently may be after the Receipt of the said
sum of Money the same to be put out to Interest by the said Ben-
jamin Tasker, for the Use and Benefit of the said Benjamin Ogle,
untill he shall arrive at or attain his full age: And that the said
