Church and also a Chapel of Ease for the said Parish And whereas
they have further by their Petition set forth that are upwards of two
hundred Taxables which were extra-parochial before the Death
of the Reverend M..r Urquehart and which by his Death became
added and united to All Faiths Parish and that the several and respec-
tive Sheriffs of Saint Mary's County from the Time the said Taxable
Inhabitants became extra-parochial have collected and received the
thirty per poll without accounting to any one for the same and they
have prayed that the Tobacco so by the Sheriffs collected and re-
ceived from those extraparochial Taxables untill the Death of M.r
Urquehart and which by his Death became added and united to All
Faiths Parish may be accounted for and paid by the several and
respective Sheriffs to the Rector Vestrymen and Church Wardens of
the said Parish and to be by them added to the Quantity of Tobacco
hereby intended to be assessed and Levied for the better erecting
building finishing and Compleating the said Parish Church and also
the Chapel of Ease, it is therefore prayed that it may be enacted,

And be it Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary
by and with the advice and consent of his Lordships Governor and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of
the same, that the Justices of Saint Mary's County Court for the
time being are hereby Authorised and empowered to Assess and Levy
at their next November Court on the Taxable Inhabitants of all
Faiths Parish the quantity of one hundred and twenty Thousand
Pounds of Tobacco together with the Sheriffs Salary of five per
centum for collection at not less than three equal Assessments which
said quantity of one hundred and twenty thousand pounds of Tobacco
shall be collected and Levied by the Sheriff of the said County who
is hereby Authorised and directed to collect and Levy the same in the
same manner as other Parish Assessments are by Law directed to be
levied and collected, and the said Tobacco when collected according
to each years equal Assessment shall be paid to the Vestrymen and
Church Wardens of the said Parish

And be it further Enacted by the Authority aforesaid, that the
Vestrymen and Church Wardens of the said Parish are hereby
Authorised and empowered to receive and collect of, and from the
Several and respective Sheriffs or in case of their or either of their
Death, from their Executors or Administrators who shall or may
have collected and received such thirty per poll from the Extra
parochial Taxable Inhabitants which by the Death of the Reverend
