who at Present are not in any Parish (as we are Credibly inform'd)
are above three Hundred, and about one Hundred will compleat Our
Parish, Your Petitioners further beg leave to represent to the As-
sembly that by our Parish not being Compleated not only the
Incumbant (has been a sufferer) but also the Proportion of the
Parishoners Towards Defraying the Parish Charges has been Greater,
wherefore we humbly Presume that it will appear Reasonable and
Just that as much of the Thirty p Poll which the sheriffs have in
Their hands Collected from those Taxables (who at Present) are
not in any Parish as is equal to the amount of the Taxes of those
that Compleat our Parish from the Death of the Rev.^d M.^r Lawrence
Debutts to this Time, be employed for the benefit of the Parish in
such manner as the Honourable Assembly shall be Pleased to Direct
Your Petitioners therefore most Humbly Pray that an Act may Pass
for that Purpose, or that the Hon.^ble Assembly will Please to grant us
such Redress in the Case as they (in Their Wisdom) shall Judge
most Propper, & your Petitioners will ever Pray &c,
